Accreditation

Kentucky Christian University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, and master’s degrees. Keeran School of Bible & Ministry Accreditation

Kentucky Christian University holds applicant status for programmatic accreditation with the Association for Biblical Higher Education Commission on Accreditation (5850 T. G. Lee Blvd., Ste. 130, Orlando, FL 32822, 407.207.0808). Applicant status is a pre-membership status granted to those programs that meet the ABHE Conditions of Eligibility for Programmatic Accreditation and that possess such qualities as may provide a basis for achieving programmatic accreditation with ABHE.

Kentucky Christian University, KY will be hosting a comprehensive accreditation visit by a team of evaluators from the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) October 22-23, 2024 to determine its compliance with the standards for accreditation. During the visit, representatives of the ABHE team will entertain comments from the public. School Of Nursing Accreditation

The baccalaureate and master’s degree programs at Kentucky Christian University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street, NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001, 202-887-6791 (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org). Both degree programs are approved by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.

School Of Education Accreditation

The unit (Department of Teacher Education) for professional education at Kentucky Christian University is accredited by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board and the unit offers teacher preparation programs which are approved by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board.
